Fluffy Content and Photos of Opulent Weddings
I needed a book that covered the fundamentals of wedding planning, and this book has none of that. It reads like a BetterHomes and Gardens magazine, where the content is fluff and the pictures are what matters… except that the weddings in these pictures are opulent but not especially beautiful, so photos were annoying and not inspiring. The point of the wedding photos was to encourage the reader to draw from her and his past and personal taste to decorate the reception. But most of us can’t afford to line a wall with flowers, or hang flower-covered chandeliers in outdoor spaces. It’s ok for a dream book, but I expected more from the editors from Tie the Knot.

Absolutely stunning photographs and ideas for wedding planning! I gave this to my son's fiance in a care package. It was the most stunning addition! I loved browsing through it and seeing all the different styles and ideas. I'm sure she'll love it, too!
