Chase 8-1/2-Ounce Brilliant Finish Metallic Spray Enamel, 24-Karat Gold

I used this brilliant gold spray paint as a background for my acrylic painting. While expensive, I have not seen anything on the market to match the sparkle and smoothness of the kind provided by this amazing spray. It was worth spending the money, the result is electrifying. Highly recommended if you are looking for a real golden look.

Did a CNC carve of a badge on white oak for a friend. I learned to shake it well or you just get lacquer at first, also hold away from work a foot at first because it throws a lot of paint. I found that a coat of clear polyurethane on top just served to dull the finish, so I applied another bear naked coat of gold. The color is not quite as yellow as the other famous brand, hence more 'elegant'. The other brand is good too, but I found it wanted to lose its sheen, maybe due to oxidation. It could be the difference between hard/soft wood, the oak was great for not absorbing the paint. This one has held up fine for 3 days now and handling it doesn't produce any rub off, although I'm keeping my hands off it so as not to put finger print oils on it. Anyway I really like it and I just ordered another can.

Had done a repair to an Eagle flag pole top. It was plastic and the wing had broken. The orginal finish was a very light but ultra reflective finish with lots of spots showing the black plastic from underneath. After the repair I attempted to use gold leaf but the gold leaf was much darker. I decided to paint it instead. I've used other gold spay parts but was never happy with the finish. I decided to try Champion 24kt gold spay enamel and I'm happy I took a chance. Super easy to use, great adhesion and coverage. Just do not apply too much at once as it will run. Several light coats works best.

This spray was exactly what I was looking for to compete a DIY all gold bar cart. The color was amazing once I started the project. It sticks well to metal and doesn’t run. My only reason for 4 stars was because the can wasn’t full when it arrived. I went to order another can but it was cancelled by seller after waiting a week. I would recommend this spray but maybe from a different seller.

This paint has a vibrant rich gold metallic color. I painted one of my flower pots with it and it came out really nice!

It looks really good after you paint an item, but I let the item dry for 3 days before handling, and the paint rubbed off a bit with each touch. I would recommend sanding the item you are applying the paint to, so it sticks better and for longer.

It lays down incredibly well! It also looks so good, it's hard to believe. One can easily covers 4 18" world wheels with one coat. The picture on my review is from a single coat over silver.
