**Q: What is outside diameter?**
A: Don't know exactly, but about 5 1/2 ".  Would be fine for full size tractor like Ford 8N or larger.  They  are too big for smaller tractor.

Work great. I had to paint them to match my tractor. These lights have smaller replaceable bulbs inside but have not been able to find any.
