I wanted the best strings for the gift I received of a Martin D45--the guitar of my dreams. The guitar is a sight to behold, and thanks to these strings, it's the most brilliant sounding best guitar in the world. I'm a lucky, most fortunate man.

Great deal, excellent strings. The only thing that was surprising is the strings are all in one package. They are in order, but all 3 sets are held in one pack. Great price, fast shipping, and the strings sound great on my Martin. :)

Very good strings but they have some downsides and some unexpected good features that balance out to 4 stars. These are great strings for those that do not have acidic sweat, which affect 1 in every 10 guitar players. Those afflicted should use coated strings, because these will go dead quickly. I am not afflicted with that problem and they still only lasted 30 days for me. These strings are easy on the fingers and would be good for someone to try medium strings. When I 1st put them on, they felt like light strings and I measured them and they are indeed medium. These strings are 80/20 (80 % copper 20 % zinc) . I prefer the 92-8 (92 % copper 8 % tin) strings. These strings are very good but did not last as long as I expected.

First time I’ve tried Martin strings and they have such beautiful tone and resonance I will use them here on out. They hold up well, and hold their tuning beautifully. Love these!
