### ⭐⭐⭐ Base is too light.

I’m a gigging musician, play out about 4 times a week. Ive owned the previous version of this stand for many many many years. It’s been the best stand I’ve ever had. I bought this expecting the same I was wrong. While the trigger mechanism is great, ultimate decided to suddenly skimp quality on the base. The base is too light compared to previous generations and the stand wobbles badly. Another example of a company shaving a few cents off quality to save a buck. I’d have paid extra to keep the heavier base. If it weren’t for the base, the stand would be perfect.

The handle to disengage the clutch inside the pole is attached so poorly that it flops around the top of the pole within only a few shot weeks. The top of he handle also connects very poorly to the base for the boom, it also moves around a lot. Stay away from this garbage.
