Spoilers
This episode was centered around Cristina and we got to see more facets of her personality as she accepts her loss of the prestigious Avery Harper award due to politics and her acceptance of this loss which included losing some much sought after grants for her future endevours. Cristina decides to accept the offer to give a five day talk in Zurich where she comes full circle running into a former love of her life that transformed her. This episode lays the groundwork for the new season and hopefully brings back some of what made previous seasons great. Some hints of the upcoming season garnered from this episode- SPOILER ALERT- for anyone living under a rock- Cristina is leaving Greys to move to Zurich and live her version of happily ever after. Alex, seems very happy and comfortbale in his own skin for the first time but maybe the writing in on the wall that his character will play a smaller role in the show since he is now in private practice and seems to be a cameo character.Dr. Bailey has crossed the line and although her experiment seems to be working it doesn't take a doctor to predict next season may be a hard one for her if she is caught.April and Jackson are expecting their own little "blueberry" and working on the major difference that threatens to seperate them-but it appears they will get their happily ever after although there is some hint that their conflicts with Jackson's mother, the Avery family expecations for their children that conflict with April's own hopes for her children and religion will be the bumps on the road next season. And it looks like the replacement for Dr. Yang will be Dr. Amy Shepherd- Derricks sister the one who was a drug addict and had the baby with no brain in the sister show of Grey's. It may be a smart idea to bring back some familar characters instead of dumping a boat of newbies on us like the producers seem to fond of doing every season.Overall it was a good ending for Cristina- she doesn't end up married to Owen and unhappy, or not married to Owen making him a drunk or living in limbo and as much as I loved the Owen-Cristina relationship I am glad that the show was true to her character.

Moving on!!!
Clearly the show had to move on now that the residents are all attendings. This season got off to a slow start but it found its legs and now it's back to the one show I will not miss. And with Amazon I don't have to. No matter where I go, I can always watch whatever show I want. As long as I have wifi.I'm not planning any trips to remote places where they've never heard of wifi....do such places exist? I have been a fan since episode one of season one. I love medical dramas so naturally I watched. I was hooked. I'm glad to see Owen and Christina back together. They have such a strong passionate relationship. But Meredith and Derek are my favorites. There is a sweetness about their love. I wish Grey's could go on forever but reality tells me it will end.I can watch it over and over and every time I see something or hear something I'd missed. Thank you for providing quality video.

Show is really starting to show its age
Grey's anatomy is certainly a big hitter in the world of medical dramas, arriving at its 10th season here. That said, little has been updated about this series since day 1. In season 10 we get the same impassioned speeches, the same character drama, etc.The one thing that has seems to have changed is that Grey's has moved further and further away from the actual medicine. These days almost every episode is about the drama of the main characters themselves and their personal lives. While that has always been a theme, it always took place within the greater backdrop of the hospital. By the time we hit Season 10, the setting of the show almost doesn't matter. These could be workers at a Starbucks and the basics of the show would be the same. The problem here is that so much drama has happened to these characters at this point that it is hard to feel any connection to them anymore. There's hardly a doctor among them who hasn't been stabbed, shot, died, brought back to life, married, divorced, remarried, re-divorced, sued, pregnant, leaving, returning, etc. There's only so much that can happen to one character before you just become disconnected from the whole thing. If you're a fan of the series, season 10 is probably worth watching. If you're iffy on the whole theme to begin with, it might be time to just say enough is enough and find something fresh.

I have always loved this show!
I have been watching Grey's Anatomy since day one. When they moved Boston Legal to Thursday I said, "I hope they put something on here that's just as good." That night I watched for the first time and was immediately hooked. I just recently watched the show from beginning to end on Netflix and wanted to get caught up to the current episode. This season has had a bunch of twists and turns and I am totally satisfied with it. I can't wait to see what happens next since Sandre Oh is leaving the show at the end of this season. They have lost a lot of key characters over the years and now her. We shall see what the future holds. I would recommend this show to anyone who loves a good medical drama with great characters. It's one of my favorite shows ever.

Not the same...
This season is tainted by the fact, I know Christina is on her way out. It's a drama, so nothing stays happy, but why destroy Cali and Arizona? It was nice for once to have a good example of a GLBT couple on television. Way to mess it up. So many other issues, but still love Bailey. Last night's switch showed her medial genius again. The last few seasons have had to earn my viewership as the Season Premieres have been disappointing. The new interns have not grabbed me yet. The walk insinuating they are the next Meredith, Izzie, and Christina did not seal my buy in either. That may have sounded bitter, but I was. You cannot replace them. Doubt I will watch past this season, but we will see.
