It's not entirely too light or too heavy. The gold face is actually rose gold and not an ideal yellow gold, so keep that in mind when choosing this color. Listen to the instructions and charge the watch for 2 hours to get the best wear out of it when you take it out of the box. In order to utilize the push notifications option, you have to download BTNotification and Fun Run app. The first app is for the push notifications to come through the watch and the second app is for using the watch as a pedometer. It will collect the steps, calories etc data that way. To take a photo or customize the watches wallpaper you need to insert a memory card. The same goes for your phone's local storage music (meaning music actually downloaded to the phone not streaming), in order to play it through the watch you need the files on a memory card. If you have a music subscription like apple music or google music, you can only intiate the music from your phone then control that from the watch; in that order. Phone calls through the watch via bluetooth sound very well like you're talking on your phone. I was so excited about that. Texts work well after adding BTNotification to your phone. You have to type using T9 of course because the buttons are so small. It reminds me of the flip phone days haha. You can access settings, your phone book, call log and app notifications as normal. Overall for the price this watch is a steal. I haven't tried the SIM card function yet so I can't comment on that. You can also flip the watch to mute incoming phone call rings, which is a pretty cool motion to make lol I haven't figured out how to turn off millitary time on the home screen yet but I'll keep trying. Everything takes awhile to download fully onto the watch after installing BTNotification, so after giving the app control over your phone to then have the watch take control over your phone, takes a little bit of time to finish. So be patient. If it's not there and it should be make sure the watch is fully charged and if all else fails power cycle it or exchange for a new one. I only need a smartwatch for work to see texts and this watch surpasses my expectations. Looks just as good as the real Nike sport band feels like the original silicone bands that come with sport Apple watches.
