I sit in it, straddle it and rest head on pillow in front of me, or lay back in it as a hammock! Inflating isn't bad (bite and then blow) and because it has that bite feature doesnt deflate soon as take another breath. And the airtubes for blowing in get pushed into the cushions so not an annoying thing sticking out. Only takes like 3-4 breaths each side. I actually prefer it slightly under-inflated so easier to maneuver when in the pool to get into different positions, and still has plenty of buoyancy to it (Im not a skinny bean haha). I lay in it and with hair in pineapple, dont get hair wet (aka lifts my head plenty up out of water). Excellent versatility and design, at a great price! Plus takes up less space at home even if keep inflated! I've used it a few times and it feels sturdy and like will hold up well. Cat has poked it and no issues haha!
