My dog's nails sometimes get stuck in the knitting and it snags the blanket. Additionally, my cat likes to knead it like dough and his nails cause it to snag. Even with some snags it looks great as a throw on my couch. I have a backup one that I can use for when I have company that's not snagged. This blanket reminds me of something my grandma would knit for me but with softer material. I like that it's kind of heavy but because it's knitted it is breathable and not too hot.
