**Q: What is the effective range**
A: I would estimate at least 30 yards.  I use it in my backyard to stop barking and it is effective at quite a distance.  There are times when I just bring out the can and the barking stops.

**Q: Can the bottle be refilled?**
A: No.  It's like a can of hairspray.  Once empty, throw it away, it's gone.

**Q: My dog whines and barks while travelling in the car would the spray help to stop this ?**
A: Its all about reinforcement. Say "no!' spray then see what happens and keep it up. But I hope that he/she does not associate the spray with bad car trips. I just have to show her the can sometimes and she will stop messing with the cat. But then the cat is the instigator so I let it ride, so I know I don't always reinforce. remember all it is is air with a noise.
