I paid $35 and about 1/3 of the bag was rotten or stale. I understand that with produce there is some of this to be expected, but it was more than just a couple of nuts. Given the effort of having to dig the nut out, it should have the quality of an in shell brazil nut. I just got some shelled brazil nuts from bulk at Whole Foods, and they were definitely superior. I definitely wouldn't buy these again.My batch was actually from Bolivia, not Brazil which is what it says on the bag on this product page.
