Save Rock And Roll, Fall Out Boy's fifth studio album, features the hits "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)," "The Phoenix," and "Alone Together." Coupled with the band's 2013 EP PAX•AM Days, Save Rock And Roll/PAX•AM Days was originally released in 2013 as a 2 CD and is now available for the first time on vinyl. Review: I wasn't sure what to expect from this album. - In the past few weeks I was steadily growing more excited, but I was also afraid I was going to be disappointed. But it's finally here, and it was very much worth the wait. Save Rock and Roll is unapologetically loud, fast, passionate...and imperfectly perfect. I think this record has brought them full circle. This IS Fall Out Boy. It feels like they have created a living memorial to all of their previous albums. The unrestrained energy of Take This. The tongue-in-cheek and determination of Cork Tree. The anything-and-everything-could-happen music styles of Infinity. And the soaring vocals of Folie. I can feel them all echoing. If this hadn't come after a hiatus, I would have thought this was meant as a goodbye. But there's undeniably something new and exciting about every song. It's infectious and fun and feels like a natural progression while still keeping everything I've always loved about them. Maybe it is a goodbye to the past, making way for whatever comes in the future. But, if this is the last that we are given from Fall Out Boy... I am content with this. It feels like an end, but somehow also like a beginning. And I am so thankful to Andy, Joe, Patrick, and Pete for creating it. I loved this album. It made me smile uncontrollably. It made me cry. It made me remember. It made me want to jump up and move. It made me want to take a drive and blare it while singing as loud as possible. Every single second was golden to me. Alone together
Needless to say, yes, I'm kind of a fanboy (actually I'm a woman, but still). This is a complete album start to finish. There is no song that I dislike. I will admit, that when I first got it, I listened to it constantly for roughly two months straight, as did the people that work with me... If you're a fan of FOB (old school days, I'm pretty sure we're the same age), then yes, you'll enjoy it. If you're a lonely girl... yes you'll love it. If you're a lonely boy... yes you'll love it. If you're having a s***ty time in life... it's kind of positive. It has a little bit of everything in it. Even if you're naughty... there's something in there for you too. The videos are priceless as well, if you enjoy such things (90's kids, we love that s***). I kind of like to re-arrange the songs a bit... make a bit of a story out of it. Like most artistic things, people like to interpret them as to fit the situation they are in. This album is all over my situation, which is why I enjoy it so much I suppose. I do highly suggest it. I can't wait for the summer tour... At least then I'll get to be alone together with my boys, which is how I feel most of the time these days.

They've grown up
I have loved Fall Out Boy since I stumbled upon their first album in an old record shop, "Evening Out With Your Girlfriend". I continued to love them through all of their ups and downs. Infinity on High is my least favorite of their records - it felt less like FOB and more like a record they needed to release to keep their name out there. Don't get me wrong, there are a few great tracks on there but I don't listen to more than half that CD. Folie a Deux really blew my mind and brought them back for me - that's why I was so surprised that they went on a hiatus. I felt like they had found their vibe, found what made them love music. I was wrong. This is their best yet. I can't skip any track. the wonderful lyrics are back and they've grown up. They play their instruments like it is a part of them, Patrick's voice is always amazing and you can't help but rock along with each song. Each song brings something different and shows a new way that the band has grown. THese aren't the same boys from From Under The Cork Tree - these are men who are now a rock band that are ready to remind you why you fell in love with them in the first place. Welcome back, guys.

Very timely delivered by Amazon. The CD comes with a little booklet with lyrics of all the songs. The album itself, of course, is a work of art. Fall out boy never disappoints me.

Insomma, Amazon efficiente come sempre!
