I am so glad I bought these. Until I plugged them in and heard their sound quality I didn't realize how much I needed new speakers. I have a MAC Mini, and the internal speakers are fine for a Zoom call, but certainly not suitable for music or watching videos. When I found these speakers and saw the very reasonable price, I thought they were worth a try. They are easy to set up: plug in the USB for power and the 3.5mm plug for the sound, and you are done. There is an easy-to-use volume control on the speaker cable. The speakers are compact and fit easily on my desk. The sound is clean and clear, and while I don't have a subwoofer, I found these speakers provide more bass than I expected. Before I got these speakers I never listened to music on my Mac. Now I can't stop! I love these speakers!

I'm not sure why I ordered wired speakers--I think I had some idea that the internet was needed for Bluetooth, but apparently I'm wrong about that! Anyway, these speakers plug into my laptop, one lead into the headphone jack and the other (which draws power) into a USB port, and they work fine. The speakers are fairly heavy and they look good. They're bigger than I expected. Each speaker is about the size of a standard coffee mug turned on its side. The cable that runs from laptop to speaker is about 3 or 4 feet long. The volume is not super loud. They are not loud enough to fill a room with sound (so they wouldn't be quite loud enough if I wanted to listen to music while walking around doing housework, for instance, I'll need to use headphones for that), but they are loud enough if you're sitting near your laptop. At maximum volume, they are a little less loud than the sound level we would have if watching TV, but that's not a problem because if I'm watching a movie on my laptop, I will be a lot closer to it than I would be to the TV. The volume is fine for watching a movie--I find I'm turning the volume up to around 80% to do that. I'm no audiophile, but the sound quality sounds pretty good to me. Given how inexpensive these were, they were a bargain.

These are fine. That’s the whole review, but I’ll elaborate because apparently that’s required. Sound-wise, they’re not much better than decent laptop speakers or the speakers built into a Mac mini. Very average. They don’t get especially loud, there’s no real bass to speak of, and nothing about the audio is going to impress you. They work, they make noise, and that’s about it. Where these do shine is the physical side. They have a surprisingly nice, heavy weight to them, the build quality feels solid, and they look way more expensive than they actually are. Clean design, nice finish, and they don’t scream “cheap plastic desktop junk.” compatible with anything that has a 3.5mm jack, can power them from a USB hub separately as the USB has nothing to do with the audio input. USB-powered and 3.5mm input keeps things simple, volume knob works fine, no weird hiss or buzzing. Setup is plug-and-play, as expected. Bottom line: buy these if you want something that looks good on your desk and sounds… acceptable. Don’t buy them expecting a meaningful upgrade in audio quality. They’re competent, well-built desk ornaments that happen to play sound.

These are amazing stereo speakers for the price! They have extremely good sound quality and the balance between left and right is very good. The size is very good for a desktop setup. They also look quite cool because of the built in blue lights. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for speakers. The only thing that is negative is that when the audio cord is plugged in and no audio is being played, they can make a slight pulsing static noise. But that is really not an issue at all.

They need a subwoofer to not sound so weak. The only have volume but they are inexpensive and after you listen to them for a bit they sound ok. I'm using them on my old desktop and they connected right away. I just miss my subwoofer.

Speakers staan mooi op het bureau. Ze waren zwaarder dan ik verwacht had. Goed om te weten dat ze blauw licht hebben. Ik heb nog geen manier gevonden om het licht uit te zetten. Zou ze zo weer kopen.

Its a perfect product for the laptop since it does not occupy much space. Very sturdy, stylish and unique set of speakers. It provides clear stereo output from the tiny speakers. Don't expect it to work like a home theatre system, as it is meant to be portable, provide boost to the existing laptop speakers. Its price is very attractive and would definitely last long, no doubt about that. Please go ahead and buy if portability, clear sound signature and economy is your priority.

Super produit ! Je suis vraiment ravi de ces haut-parleurs Amazon Basics. Le rapport qualité-prix est tout simplement dingue. Le son est clair, puissant et très agréable pour une utilisation PC au quotidien. En plus de ça, le design est très beau et la finition est vraiment soignée. Franchement, difficile de faire mieux à ce prix-là. Je recommande à 100 % !

I need speakers for my BenQ monitor on my MacMini and tried these. They are surprisingly good for the size and cost.
