**Q: Is the peg and dowel easy to install? Does it require a specil tool?**
A: Yes and no. No: no special tool required.Yes: The system is designed though that you insert the larger diameter hollow "peg" into the holes of the clip and glass, and then push the 'dowel' into the peg to spread it out and tighten the assembly. The biggest issue is to somehow 'hold' the peg when pushing the dowel in (and not pushing the peg out). This requires to get to the back of the glass, which can be tricky.

**Q: How do you install it?**
A: It requires some knowledge of tearing apart automobiles and appropriate tools for removing the door panel. But I found it pretty simple after watching a YouTube video. Just be patient and careful.

**Q: Will this part work in a 2009 vw passat kommfort 2.0t rear window?**
A: I can only say with certainty that it fits up to 2005 Passat model years. I have not found good images showing the rear regulator of the newer models. Sorry.
