NOT A PAID REVIEW.... ok so I got this because my most recent lab results said my iron was low low. I have extremely heavy periods to the point that I have to wear those pretty ugly period panties. Said all that to say I got this THEE DAY my cycle started. Day 1 per usual flow but my day 2 which is my most heaviest day wasn't so heavy. It changed my ENTIRE FLOW. Was it still heavy yes but not to the point that I needed period panties and changing it every 4 hours (yes that is how heavy it is) but rather a really good overnight pad was used throughout the day. Day 3 normally was heavy was again not as bad and the cramps which are usually unbearable were actually bearable. Day 4 was smooth sailing. I normally have a 7 day cycle. With taking this out cut down to 5 days. Shooketh I was. I also noticed the extra energy that came along with taking it. I am normally depleted of ALL energy during this time of month and I will say it was significant difference. Like I was able to clean the whole house different. Where as I am normally in the fetal position on the couch with a heating pad and a towel up under me. Now for the taste.... its horrible and ain't no way around that. It's nasty but bearable with an IMMEDIATE chaser. You may also notice that for the first few days your burps will also taste like it BUT keep going. I promise it's worth it! I am not going to lie and say this was the only thing I took BUT with the lab results showing my vitamin D was low as well I added it to the mix. So it maybe the combination that worked together but I rather be honest than fuggle an honest review. If your iron is low or your a PCOS girly with endometriosis like I am just buy it! But don't say that I didn't warn you that about the taste. The benefits outweigh the taste.

I originally purchased this item a couple of months ago to help with hair growth and retention. Thinking I'm slightly deficient in iron (like many women of color) and it's time to start supplementing. After I recieved it I took it here and there, struggling to find a rythym. About a month ago, I started taking a small amount of tumeric and olive oil mixture (with a sprinkle of black pepper) to help combat mysterious inflammation that was suddenly showing up on my face. The mixture worked like magic to get rid of the inflammatory marks on my face, it took two days. Like most people would do, I kept taking it. After the first week I noticed I was waking up exhausted and felt less alert throughout the day (the exact opposite of the initial effects of the mixture). By day 12, the symptoms were twice as bad and I also found myself getting a little confused, dizzy, and lightheaded. The only thing I'd changed was adding the tumeric and olive oil (just about a tablespoons worth) before bed. I did some research and found that curcumin (the active form of Tumeric) binds to iron! And olive oil also has a slight chelating effect. And all of the symptoms I was experiencing was due to my suspected low (or borderline) iron being bound to curcumin and not being available for absorption in my gut. After learning this, I immediately went home and took a dose of my geritol. The lightheaded feeling and dizziness went away the same day! And on day two, I was feeling well rested, energized and clear of mind. I also stopped taking the tumeric and olive oil mixture. It worked beautifully but I want to have some labs drawn before adding it back into my routine again. Until lab work gets closer in date ,Geritol is now a staple in my diet.

I’m almost finished with my 1st bottle and here are my thoughts/results: The taste is very strong and can be hard to stomach for most. The reason for this is the brewers yeast that’s in this. When I first smelled it, it smelled stinky but familiar and when I saw brewers yeast on the label that’s when it clicked. I used to give my dogs brewers yeast supplements and that is the exact smell. I’ve learned to deal with this by pouring the 15ml into the measuring cap and adding water to the rest of it. I have 30 ml cups I use. Throw it back quickly and then vigorously rinse my mouth out with a cap of water twice. Then, I gargle and swish to finish removing all presence of the taste out my mouth. You can try brushing your teeth after to really get it out. Ok, so taste aside, I feel like my energy levels have definitely improved as I have problems with my b-12, vitamin d levels and iron. The end of this week will be 4 weeks for me. I can’t say anything about hair and nail growth, which prompted me to try it as it takes a long time for a supplement to work on that level, but I definitely feel different in a good way. My joints don’t ache as much and my mood has improved. Vitamin deficiency can play a role in mood and I noticed a difference. I don’t sleep any better, it seems like I can’t go to sleep like I want to. I’m staying up longer, starting this past week. I still take a vitamin d3 supplement in conjunction with this so I don’t know if this affected my energy as well. This is my first liquid vitamin and I think that made a huge difference in my absorption of the vitamins. I have problems with malabsorption due to digestive issues which caused my deficiencies. The liquid seemed to work better than the gummy and sublingual vitamins I take. I’m going to finish this bottle but due to the taste, I’m going to try the geritol pills and see if I have the same results. I don’t know what else I could mix this with to cover the smell/taste. Good value for your money, just wish it tasted better Sidenote: Brewers yeast can cause an increase in appetite, it does for me, so be mindful of the time of day you take it to avoid being hungry. I take it early in the evening so I’m asleep and don’t notice it. I rather wake up hungry than go to bed hungry.

I’m so glad it stayed the same after the package change. Gives me all the vitamins and minerals I need I have energy and helps my have grow. The only drawback is the taste is a strong iron or vitamin taste so you’ll need to chase it. But it a good liquid vitamin that isn’t expensive.

Customers need to know that this liquid vitamin and iron supplement is still good after all these years. The taste is still horrible and the quick energy boost and hair growth are worth the bitter taste. I highly recommend this supplement!

Women need an iron supplement. This has done so much for me. My energy levels have increased and I am no longer suffering a mid day crash. Sleeping throughout the night, hair and nails are much stronger and focus is amazing. It tastes like death, so I mix it in with pineapple juice which helps a lot. Great product. I would suggest ordering two bottles at a time so you don’t run out while waiting for next delivery. I’m in Australia and it takes approx two weeks to arrive each time.

It arrived late. The taste is not pleasant, I found it horrible. I have been taking it for 2 weeks, don't feel any difference but that could be because my iron level is extremely low. I have started to notice it's staining my teeth which can happen with oral iron supplements. Overall I won't be purchasing it again.
