The bulb would start to "flicker"... like a connection was loose, then it would stop, to start flickering again! I proved the problem to one LED bulb, as the other 3 LED bulbs work perfectly.▪ I contacted PacLights & was instructed to send the defective bulb back to them for warranty replacement. So I'm suppose to send the bulb back to them, at my expense, so they can replace their defective LED bulb? Not real happy with the customer support on this product. :(► my original review is below ▼I've been thinking about moving to LED bulbs, but the price seemed too high. I happened across this killer deal, so I figured it's time to upgrade to LED bulbs! :)The pros:+ 4 pack for $29.88... that's $7.47 each + free Amazon shipping when I purchased mine!+ Pretty good customer product reviews.+ This LED bulb is dimmable.+ The dimming works perfectly with our X-10 home automation lamp modules.+ Instant on, no warm up time as with CFL replacement bulbs.+ No noticeable noise when operating.+ 12 watt LED = 60/75 watt equivalent = VERY bright!+ Very good light output of 900 lumens.+ 80 CRI - color rendering index.+ Advertised - 3000 kelvin, soft/warm white.+ Omnidirectional light pattern, like the incandescent bulbs but it replaced.+ Energy savings.+ Advertised - Very long lifespan.The cons:- Advertised as soft/warm white, 3000K... close, but it's a whiter, cooler light. It's noticeable, so some may not like it. Normally 2700 kelvin is considered warm white.- These are VERY bright! One lamp we have is dimmed to 10%, as low as we can go & it's too bright.- Poor customer support! Don't expect too much in the way of exceptional product support from this company! :(► Update - May 27, 2015▪ When I installed these, the light wasn't as warm as the incandescent bulbs they replaced. I thought We'd get used to this, but that didn't happen. I'm going to change to 2700 kelvin, warm white LED bulbs. :( ### ⭐⭐ One bulb failed in less than 5 hours *by C***K on Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2015* The 3 bulbs out of 4 that are working are good. The bulbs are rated for 25,000 hours - the first one failed in about 3 1/2 hours. I hope the other 3 last a bit longer. The lights are easily dimmable and are quiet. They do, however, flicker once on a voltage dip when dimmed - only once, not a constant flicker. I had a real dilemma regarding the defective bulb. Amazon required I return all 4, not just the defective one, and Paclights instructed me to resolve my problem with Amazon. Paclights even suggested I purchase 1 additional bulb and return the defective one on the new order, which I believe is unethical and refused to do. When I explained to Amazon that I needed 3 of the lights and could not return all 4, they offered credit for the defective one. I took the credit but still only have 3 bulbs. I believe that when the suppliers have a defective product (and they will now that most everything is made in China), the should resolve the problem with no cost and minimal inconvenience to the consumer. ### ⭐ Well the package it arrived in said 60 watt equivalent, nothing about 75 watts. *by R***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2015* So far so good but I'm dinging them for advertising it as 75 watts when the box clearly shows 60 watts. I guess in 15 or so years if the thing is still working as advertised I'll bump it up to 4 stars but given that I ordered these to replace 75 watt bulbs I'm a little miffed. My wife and I notice the black line that surrounds the bulb when it's lit but we placed them within a white globe where you can't tell. Might be a bigger issue if you have them behind clear glass.*updated May 2018 to lower rating - bulbs are burning out in about 3 years.
