I recently picked up the 5th Element Stealth Ice Hockey Skates for some casual skating with my kids and was blown away by how great they felt. As someone who played hockey for years when I was younger, I wanted a skate that would feel familiar without costing a fortune (Bauer, I'm looking at you). These skates delivered everything I hoped for. -Sharpening and Fit- I had the skates sharpened before my first use (a must for any new pair), and they performed flawlessly on the ice. The fit was true to size, providing a snug but comfortable feel that offered great control and support. The padding is just right, firm enough for stability but still good during longer sessions. -On the Ice- I’ve used them for both recreational skating and some pick-up hockey games, and they’ve held up beautifully with the blade not dulling rapidly (a sign of poor quality steel). They offer excellent balance and responsiveness, making turns and stops feel effortless. This ice skate shoe fits true to size. I’m about size 9 and it first me perfectly while leaving room for my toes! It’s very comfortable and it’s one of the reason why I brought it. These are decent skates for the price, but not as comfortable as I expected. I will use them but wonder if other options may provide more comfort.

We purchased these for Christmas for our teenager, and they have worked great. We are just casual skaters, skating on outdoor rinks and lakes a few times each winter. He wore some thick socks for extra comfort, skates arrived sharp and ready for skating, and once tightened well - provided great ankle support.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. They’re comfortable they fit him well and it’s a great sturdy skate. Highly recommend.
