Just peel back the paper in the adhesive strips, then apply the glue (included), and then stick. Let the glue cure/dry before hanging. I also cleaned my surface with a bit of rubbing alcohol before hand. One of my glue tubes dried up/cured inside the tube. I used silicone caulk from my local home improvement store (liquid nails would work as well) and that worked great.I bought 5 packs so I could install 5 hooks on 3 different doors. Hooks are solid. I hang bath robes and bath towels behind bathroom door. Looks great. No issues.
